What is a HydraFacial treatment?

HydraFacial is a non-invasive skincare treatment that uses a patented device to cleanse, exfoliate, extract dirt and impurities, and hydrate the skin. This multi-step process involves using a special HydraFacial device that infuses the skin with a blend of serums and antioxidants. During the treatment, the device uses suction to remove debris from pores and dead skin cells, while delivering nourishing and hydrating ingredients to the skin.

What are the benefits of HydraFacial treatment? It helps to treat skin concerns such as:

  • Large pores

Pre-treatment

  • Stop using accutane 6 months before treatment, unless you have been given clearance by a clinician
  • Stop the use of generic tretinoin or tropical Retin-A for at least 48hours prior to your Treatment
  • Don’t use any exfoliating treatments, like glycolic acids or enzymes on the area that is going to be treated for at least 48hours before your Treatment
  • Cancel the use of any medium or deep chemicals peels/resurfacing treatments and laser treatments for 2 weeks before the facial Treatment
  • Do not wax or use depilatories for 48 prior Treatment
  • Stop using any over the counter medications such as, benzoyl peroxide and salicylic at least 48 hours before facial
  • Avoid a lot of sun exposure and don’t use tanning beds for at least 72 hours before Treatment
  • Don’t have any Botox treatments for at least two weeks before treatment, you are allowed to have it done the same day, only must happen after facial

 

Post Treatments:

  • Avoid extra sun exposure and don’t use any tanning beds for at least 72 hours after the treatment
  • The morning after treatment, wash your face with PCA Facial Wash or Hydro peptide Exfoliating Cleanser, some over the counter facial washes can damage your skin after this treatment (PCA= pyrrolidone carboxylic acid – is amino acid derived ingredient that functions as a humectant. Increases hydration in the uppermost layers of the skin)
  • Apply SPF 30% sunscreen daily for at least 3 to 5 days after Treatment
  • Don’t wax or use depilatories for at least 48 hours after the Treatment
  • Don’t use any medium or deep chemical peels or laser treatments for at least 2 weeks after facial Treatment
  • Don’t use any exfoliating treatments, like glycolic acid or enzymes, or at least 48 hours after Treatment
  • Don’t use over the counter acne medications, like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid for at least 48 hours after Treatment
  • Avoid intense heat for at least 24 hours after treatment
  • Wait until the day after your treatment to apply makeup
